DELOS WATER FILTER

SENSITIVE CHOICE APPROVED

The Delos 3-Stage filter uses a dual-gradient filtration process to remove sediment, chemical additives like chlorine and microscopic particles including dissolved metals (lead, aluminium and copper) down to 1 micron in size, designed to achieve over 140,000L capacity.

  • Stage 1.  Sediment filter - made from 100% pure polypropylene and are designed for purity and will not impart taste, odour or colour to the water. The polypropylene construction filters down to 1-microns and provides up to three times the dirt holding capacity of similar size sediment cartridges, also superior chemical resistance and is not prone to bacterial attack.

  • Stage 2. Granulated Activated Carbon filter is constructed with a 70-micron porous polyethene outer shell and a bed of granular activated carbon (GAC).

  • Stage 3. Kinetic Degradation Fluxion - cartridges are constructed of high performance granular activated coconut shell carbon and a 5-micron spun bonded polypropylene post sediment element. KDF filters are high-purity formulations that use redox (oxidation/reduction) to remove chlorine, lead, mercury, iron, and hydrogen sulphide from the water.

The Delos 3-Stage Point of Entry System uses municipal potable water as the source of its raw water. The system is used to purify municipal potable water by removing iron rust, particles, chlorine and heavy metals.

Carbon filtration allows the reduction of chlorine taste and odour, providing fresh, clean and great tasting water from any sink in the home. By reducing chlorine in showers, it helps lessen the drying effects of chlorine, leaving hair and skin feeling softer and smoother.

Moreover, this technology filters water as it enters the home, protecting appliances and avoiding mineral build-up in the future. Filtered water also is more cost-effective than bottled water, reducing the environmental impact on our landfills. Water purification can further limit the need for purchasing expensive, wasteful bottled water.
